Multi-flora, uni-flora, and forest honey
What does multiflora honey mean? Multiflora (or multi-flora) honey means the bees gathered nectar from many different flowers in the same season, instead of mainly from one. It is not a blend of finished honeys. Our Himalayan multiflora honey comes from forest hives at 8,000 ft in the Himachal Himalayas, so its colour and taste follow the season's blooms.
Uni-flora honey comes mainly from one bloom. Multi-flora honey comes from several flowers in the same foraging period. Shops use "forest honey" loosely. Read the stated origin and the process.
The Himalayas of Himachal Pradesh
We source from the Himalayas of Himachal Pradesh. Hives are harvested at 8,000 ft. Bees can work mustard, acacia, bramble, hill herbs, and other seasonal blooms. It is not Manuka. We do not sell it as a single-flower varietal.
Why colour and flavour change with the season
Rain, temperature, bloom timing, and the local flower mix change from harvest to harvest. One batch can taste brighter or look lighter than another. That is normal for seasonal multi-flora honey.

Does multiflora honey crystallize?
Often, yes. Raw multiflora honey can turn cloudy or solid, especially in cool weather. That is normal. Warm the closed jar in water below 40°C to soften it.
